Independently owned and operated, Escarpment Group investments in the Blue Mountains region began in 2004 with Echoes Boutique Hotel and Restaurant followed by the acquisition of the Hydro Majestic Hotel in 2008. Lilianfels Resort & Spa, renowned 5-star luxury property for the Greater Blue Mountains region, was added in 2009 and Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges was acquired in 2013. The Convent is the most recent property to be added to the group, and is the group’s first foray out of the Blue Mountains.
